On Snapchat, you can only see screenshot notifications for your own Story. Open your Story, swipe up, and check the viewers list. If someone takes a screenshot, a small screenshot icon appears next to their name. That is the only direct way to know.
Snapchat only shows screenshot info while your Story is active. It works for both public and private Stories. Once the Story expires after 24 hours, you lose that data completely and cannot view it again.
To check properly, post a Story and swipe up while it is live. You will see a viewer list. If someone screenshotted it, a small double-arrow icon appears next to their name. No icon means no screenshot.
You cannot see who screenshots other people’s public Stories. Snapchat blocks that for privacy. You only get screenshot alerts for your own content, not for anything you view from others.
There is no hidden log or delayed notification system. Snapchat sends screenshot alerts instantly and only within the active Story window. If you miss it or the Story expires, you cannot recover that information.
