Error code 0x0003 in NVIDIA GeForce Experience usually happens when NVIDIA services stop working, drivers become corrupted, or Windows network settings interfere with the app. The good news is that it’s often easy to fix.
Start with the simplest solution: restart your PC and reopen GeForce Experience. If the error remains, press Windows + R, type services.msc, and make sure these services are running: NVIDIA Display Container LS, NVIDIA LocalSystem Container, and NVIDIA NetworkService Container. Set them to Automatic and click Start if they’re stopped.
Next, update or reinstall your NVIDIA graphics driver. Open NVIDIA Driver Downloads and install the latest driver for your GPU. During installation, choose Custom Installation and check Perform a clean installation.
Another common fix is resetting network settings. Open Command Prompt as Administrator and run:
netsh winsock reset
Then restart your computer.
If nothing works, uninstall and reinstall GeForce Experience completely. This removes corrupted files and usually resolves the issue.
